What Causes Hemorrhoids

There are a number of causes for hemorrhoids. The following are 3 of the most common issues that can lead to hemorrhoids for you or a loved one.

Hemorrhoids Cause #1 – Poor Eating Habits
Poor eating habits are the source of a multitude of health problems, hemorrhoids included. For example, it has been determined that overly processed foods can lead to constipation and other digestive problems. Both of these are known causes and inflammatories for hemorrhoids. Do your best to avoid most processed foods and incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet.

Hemorrhoids Cause #2 – Being Too Sedentary
We all know that being sedentary is bad for your health, however, most people do not realize that it can also be a contributing factor in hemorrhoid development. This is especially true for women who are pregnant or people who suffer from chronic constipation. It is best to try to get a certain level of activity throughout the day and also to exercise on a regular basis.

Hemorrhoids Symptom #3 – Hemorrhoid Creams & Medicines
Just as with the poor eating habits, the use of highly-processed, chemically rich medicines can have a detrimental effect on your body. Incredibly, even medical treatments for hemorrhoids such as creams and fiber supplements can cause more problems than they claim to solve. Even worse is that they do not even treat the root of the problem. Without addressing the root cause of your hemorrhoids, they will only continue to get worse.

Again, these are some of the most common causes of hemorrhoids. If you do not currently suffer from hemorrhoids, try your best to avoid falling into the trap of #1 & 2. If you already suffer from hemorrhoids, try to avoid these situations to prevent flare ups or a worsening of the condition.

While there are traditional medical options available to provide temporary relief from hemorrhoids symptoms, these are not always the best path to take.
